2007 Special Editions - Pirates

New Film - New Pirate Designs.

In February 2007, Disney produced 2 new $1 bills as a 'special edition' to mark the release of the 'Pirates of the Carribbean' films.

Later in the year on 15th May, Disney released a 3rd $1 bill to mark the release on the "At Worlds End" film.

These were all limited edition print run of 100,000 of each of the 3 styles for each of the parks. (600,000 in total)

This was a $1 series only, with no corresponding $5 or $10 bills. Disney broke from the tradition of the A, D & T prefix for this set only.

Bills prefixed with 'E' are from Disneyland, CA and bills prefixed with an 'F' and from Walt Disney World, FL.

The Letter at the end of the Serial number, changes depending of the name of the pirate ship on the reverse of the bill:-

'B' - Black Pearl - Released February 2007 in both parks.

'F' - Flying Dutchman - Released February 2007 in both parks.
